Not all emergencies are the same. Where they happen and those involved make a difference. Here in Spencer we do our best to get maximum assistance to the most difficult places along with those where the necessity is greatest.
Tilicho
Spencer supports Onlus (No profit organisation for Social aid) Tilicho and their long term plan to bring assistance and aid to the population of Nepal (Manang and Dolpo areas).
The Tilicho project provides medical and social assistance for the inhabitants of the mountain area of Nepal where malnutrition, infection, lack of vitamins, illnesses caused by poor quality of drinking water are the principal caused of illness and death. Tilicho is particularly orientated towards those most in need - fertile women, children and porters; on the website tilicho.org you can check out not only goals already reached but also the new projects being developed thanks to the help of numerous volunteers.
Spency
How can we help relive the psychological stress put on a child who is going through the trauma of an accident or emergency?
Spencer in collaboration with the famous and following the examples of other organisations specialised in the world of PG. Gaslini Children’s Hospital in Genova paediatrics like for example Good Bears of the World of De Bilt (Belgium), CPEM - New York (U.S.A.), Mount Saint Vincent University di Halifax (Canada) has offered a concrete answer.
This where the Spency project is rooted but what does it mean? It means giving a cute little fluffy teddy bear to children who being involved in an road accident, emergency or in any situation where rescue is necessary in order to alleviate the consequent psychological stress of contact with strangers (rescuers) and unfamiliar instruments (emergency devices).
Those rescuers (for example 118, police, Firemen) who give a Spency Teddy bear, offer a vital therapeutical answer to children who are in a new and difficult situation and helps the rescuer to establish a relationship with the paediatric patient.

CSF Group-Navigare Professional Cycling Team 2009
Again this year Spencer is one of the principal sponsors of the professional cycling team CSF Group - Navigare.
The CSF Group - Navigare is directed with passion and professionalism by Roberto Reverberi, and under his experienced guidance the team is ready to face the numerous challenges that the 2009/10 season will offer them.
The team will be present in all the most important national and international competitions organised by the International Cycling Federation (UCI).
