Water rescue
The decision to invent and subsequently realize a line dedicated to water rescue
marks an important stage in the evolution of Spencer’s range of products for rescue operations.
The innovative spirit of this line reflects the necessity to meet the needs of the various
associations, who take care of the wellbeing of people no matter what the situation, to think of a security that goes beyond dry land. To the products created specifically for use
in water, we have added simple and flexible accessories that, summed with the quality
of the products, supply a valid back-up to the rescuer. He/she can then in turn rely on buoyancy and a vital support of the victim. Today, many of the rescue associations
throughout the world are using, with satisfaction, Spencer products.

Universal floatation system for basket stretchers
Easy to apply, fundamental to maintain a vertical position in water rescue. Made of high density, closed cell, expanded polyethylene with Spentex® or vinyl coated
anti-strap nylon material. The belts to fix the system to the basket are produced in unbreakable polypropylene straps, fixed to the actual floatation system with very strong, three row double seam. The blocking and regulation system is made out of nylon 6, which guarantees perfect functioning also in extreme environmental conditions. Some floatation systems are supplied with a reflective strip that improves safety and visibility even in the worst weather conditions.

Universal reserve system for inflatables
Considering the infinite variations of rescues, your equipment must have high flexibility, a good operative economy as well as be absolutely trustworthy. The secret lies in being able to attain a maximum performance reducing the costs to a minimum, but at the same time satisfying the needs of the rescuers who require a product on which they can rely. With the two inflatable pillows, resistant to impacts, you can give your spine board extra buoyancy. Stored in its own the bag, it occupies less space. It can be adapted to all spine boards to anticipate any eventuality of rescue in water.

For ten years, the spine board Spencer Rock has been the protagonist in rescues both on land and in water. In fact, during the design phase, careful attention was taken, not only regarding the buoyancy but also in the realization of a crash-box filled with high-density expansive polyurethane to limit the consequences of impact to the most vulnerable areas when in rough waters.

Boston Pro
Basket stretcher with spine board
The architecture of the Boston Pro has been created for the both the rescue professionals and for the victims who are extremely well protected from the danger of drowning when placed on the spine board Spencer Rock Pin, integrated with an aluminium frame. Boston Pro is for instance employed for the personnel on oil rigs and in ports. Boston Pro joined together with Maxxis, adjustable lengthwise on the frame, it allows the victim to be kept in the best position possible when the water is choppy.

Basket stretcher for water rescue
The stability of the basket is an important safety element, since it must have the capacity to straighten itself in case of overturning (transversal stability). Thanks to the lateral side runners, the Alaska acquires the aptitude of recovering balance after dipping and rolling caused by wind or waves.

Net for water rescue
The idea comes from a professional water rescue group. This instrument turned out to be effective and easy for use in the rescue and salvage of victims in the sea. Made of 50 mm polyester lockstitched tape, it is wraparound and highly versatile, but at the same time the geometry of its form, gives it a good structural value and shrinking is reduced to a minimum. The purpose made holder for the Res-Q-Web can be attached to all means of transport.

Res-Q-Rope Kit
Bag with integrated rope
Light-weighted, compact and sturdy. It is made with durable material with an expanded polyethylene disc fixed on the bottom, in order to float even with the rope inside. The floating rope is also fixed to the bottom. The central part of the bag is realized in PVC-coated nylon mesh, to make the water filling easier before launching. Catching is optimized by a specific handle which is fixed on the bottom. It is provided with a 14 m floating polypropylene rope.

Life Guard
Professional life-saving buoy
A tapered life-saving device; pointed at the front, in rigid plastic equipped with handles on the sides and at the back. Made in medium density polyethylene without seams, it guarantees good buoyancy and is hydrodynamic. The method used in moulding renders it robust and therefore usable also for rescue operations and special recoveries; it is ideal for beach patrols and irreplaceable in multiple and scuba diver rescues. A rot-proof shoulder strap in polypropylene and its floating top make Life Guard a very suitable buoy for the professional water rescuers.

Res-Q-Tube
Universal linear rescue collar
A linear buoy made with expansive, closed cell materials, covered in vinyl. It is made of a trapezoid shaped sponge-like plastic material which can be bent into a horseshoe form and be closed around the victim and fixed with a spring catch. It is this feature which makes it versatile and means it can adapt to any shape or size. Characterized by remarkable hydrodynamic qualities, it can be used as a normal life-saving ring and also improves the transport ashore of people who are found in difficulty. Two rot-proof tapes have been attached on the distal parts.
